menu wont shut off

All of a sudden, the menu is on the TV and wont shut off. it keeps going thru the list of menu items, but I cant get it to shut off. I've unplugged the tv and tried everything I could think of. The remote died 1 year ago, so everything is done manually when using the tv. Any help would be great.
