"IF" you are saying it fell on the ground, then its quite impossible to give an accurate diagnosis of whats liable to be wrong, as it could be anything from a cracked circuit board to the LCD itself being damaged, however if the viewfinder also shows half black , half white then its liable to be the circuit board or even the CCD assembly knocked out of alignment, although it would have to be some jolt to do that. (prime suspect area is the circuit board)
