Re: JVC service or questions

ziggy Posted May 18, 2007, in response to:Stacy Sample

I have borrowed a GR-D22U which I plan on taking with me to Australia next week. It didn't come with any paperwork/instructions and I need to know how to go about recharging it while I am there. Do I need something to change currents from 220 to 110 or do I just need an adapter that changes the pins so I can plug it straight into the wall socket? (I already have the second one) Thank you.

Just a clarification to the above, the voltage coverage range is AUTOMATIC as the power supplies are SMPS types. (switch mode power supplies)

To my knowledge all JVC power supplies cover from 110 / 220-250 volts 50 or 60 Hz, so its really a case of pin adaptors to suit the local supplies, these obtainable nearly everywhere.
