Screen shuts off

When the TV is initially turned on, after approx 30 min the screen shuts off, including the sound, and then will come back on in about 2 to 3 min. This cycle will continue for about 2 hours with the shut down occuring every 7 to 8 min with a 3 to 4 minute recovery. If the TV is left on for about 2 hours the picture and sound never fail again until the TV is turned off and then restarted. What is the required repair and replacement parts?
