This is the same exact problem I have with my own set. Before I replace the mainboard completely is there anything else I should check? Replaced the c926 capacitor with no apparent effect.. Picture is out but I still get sound, on my JVC 27" AV27750. This is the second time I have completely lost picture on my 27" JVC AV27750. I do still get audio but the screen is just black. I suspect it is the same problem as the first time, 3 years ago when it was 4 years old. Sears fixed it for $120 and noted "CK Over.. Replaced Vertical Out - Installed IC Repaired connection." It's a good $500 unit but I don't want to repair it every 3 years. Before I discard it I figured I'd check to see if this is a problem that can easily be fixed by me (with very little electronic repair experience). Thanks in advance if you have any ideas. Tom
