JVC AV-35750 Manufactured October 1996

Hello, Our JVC AV-35750 will not come on. You push the on/off button and the little red light blinks one time, and the TV won't come on, so you push the button again and it still won't come on. This happened once before, and the tech said we needed a new "Mother Board" what ever that is. Do you know if these TV's are still being sold? Do you know how much "mother boards" cost?
