VCR error 3L 10cc

Error after forward/rewind. VCR model SONY SLV-E710EE

If you enter stop or play while the machine is in fast forward or rewind (or allow it to go to the end of the tape and enter stop by itself), the deck will stop and the loading motor will run for a few seconds, then the deck will shut down and display the error code "3L 10cc". If you wait for 10 seconds more, the machine will reset & work until it has to stop in fast wind again, then it will go back into the same failure mode. Deck will load, play, and eject normally when not in this failure mode. Have you any idea what is the problem? Thank you Jarda

This is deffinetelly "weak" sensor detecting "End of Tape"/or beginning of tape/ when transparent /i.e. non magnetic / part of tape comes to detector position! You should hear very noisy stop, practically by reaching the tape to its end /or bigginning/ depending on the direction of tape motion, i.e. forward or reverse! Change either LED and photoresistor!
