If you have the JVC disc, the driver is hidden within and requires further steps for XP users. Connect the camera and when the wizard pops up, check 'install from specific location' (advanced) and click next. Then click 'search for best driver in these locations', 'include this location in the search' and 'browse'. Double click My Computer, then CD Rom then Windows XP and Next. Click 'Continue Anyway' when Warning Message appears and Finish. The wizard will pop again. Do these steps at least 3 times until the wizard stops popping up and your camera will be recognised the next time you connect it.
