Error Message

Hi, we purchased the above camera in Florida,US in 2000 and haven't had any problems with it until now. We have an error message E04 'UNIT IN SAFE MODE' and it freezes. We have purchased a JVC head cleaner and it has improved but it is still not 100%. The above mentioned error message still appears. We came across your email address posted on PECHORIN'S and would be very grateful for your help and assistance.
