Re: JVC service or questions

karen Posted May 03, 2007, in response to:Stacy Sample

i found your offer for help on the pechorin's site. i have a jvc grd90u and i need to find out how to get the video i've taken off the little tape and onto my computer or a vhs tape. i searched and can't seem to find a cord that will go from the svideo on the camera to a standard vcr. what do you suggest? how did jvc intend for owners to transfer their video and/or view it on their tv?

Most VHS tape machines do not have an "S" video input facility, so to transfer video into a tape machine use the lead with a right angled 3.5mm jack plug on one end into the camcorders AV out socket, and then plug the RCA type phono plugs on the other end into the matching colored sockets on front of the tape machine. Make sure you select the AV input front sockets when setting the VHS machine for recording, or it will be recording from its internal tuner as that is its default setting.
