channel switching with nobody touching the TV or remote

We own a 36"JVC model # AV36D502 TV with a satellite system hooked to it. As we are watching A program the TV will switch channels on its own from channel 3 TO 4 and sometimes keep right on going up on channels. We thought maybe the satellite was doing it and switched it off and the TV kept right on switching channels. Our next move was to replace the remote seeing as our was bad already,no luck!Any help with this problem would be appreciated
