Is this Issue being resolved?

I also have the porblem with my JVC AV-56WP74. I've been reading the messages but haven't heard a lot of success stories. Is this problem being fixed and is this something that a person with no tv repair knowledge can fix? If so please help me or does anyone know how much this would cost to get repaired? Thanks!
