WHY didnt you use your knuckles 1st , gentle hands are better then a hard table. lol. Hi there: Sorry, as I've stated here before I do not condone physically abusing any delicate electronic equipment. I do not know what a 'Kodak easyshare z760' is and I think you simply got lucky. 'Bonking it on a table' is a totally unacceptable approach as well as being potentially dangerous and foolhardy. You would not attempt to 'repair' a broken Rolex watch this way would you? I do have a Sony DSC-S40 camera and they do have a particular internal defect that my 'Quick Fix' will solve due to the white/blank LCD screen issue. If you have any electronic equipment, expensive or not, of any kind, that is not working properly, the first thing to do is to contact the manufacturer for an authorized service facility or the store where it was purchased. No respectable service technician in any field would recommend anyone attempt to 'repair' anything by using brute force. Bob Allen The Allens of Allentown, PA USA April 18, 2007 |
