MP3/MP4 Disk Error

I have kind of the same error, my awa mp4 player wont work, it wont even turn on, it only works when on charger but as soon as you take it off the charger it turns itself off. And when it is on charger when i scroll to MUSIC file it comes up with DISC ERROR. If you have any clue as to how to fix this or wat im doing wrong please help.
