If your PC has a "firewire" input you dont require any drivers, although you "will" require a video capture / manipulation programme such as Nero 6 or 7 to edit etc your video takings. If it does have a firewire input, you use a firewire (DVi) cable with four pin firewire plug one end for camcorder, and another four or six pin (depending on PCs socket) firewire plug on the other end.
