Home | First message in thread | Previous messageI fixed this with no problem otis sent me a link to order the parts I spent like $40 bucks and removed the board from the front of the tv, its kind of fragile so be care full . also tvs can kill you so unplug and dont touch anything it can still bite unplugged. I de-soldered the 110"s got a cheep de-solder tool like a small turky baster from radio shack and resoldered in 150's and a new resisor and re placed all the wired plugs and it works Great ,, man i love the internet thanks for the help....

I had a problem with my TV colors not lining up. One day I turned it on and the green was out of wack. I checked this message board and replaced the STK chips, bad soldering and all led to me just giving up on that and buying a whole new Convergence Board ($185). I replaced the missing silver box on the new board and I just plugged this in and though now my Green lines up okay, my red is out of whack. Is there something I am doing wrong? Can anyone help me? Did i miss a step? Frustrated......Bruce |
