Help with sorting files on my JVC camcorder model GZ-MG50AA

The video's taken on my camcorder do not seem to follow a fileing patten. When I replay, all the scenes are out of sequence and it takes me a long time to arrange them for burning to a disc. Is there a setting that will file the scenes in the order they were taken???
