Sony cybershot dsc-s75 and dsc-s85 MEMORY STICK ERRORS

I called Sony and they can't help. I have two sony cybershot cameras and have had no problems with memory sticks until I bought three new Sandisk SHOOT&STORE Memory Stick PRO MagicGate memory sticks. I cannot format them and they don't work in my Sony cybershots. Sony said there is no way to format a memory stick from my pc, but I read that someone was able to do that, just now how. I can't format from my camera by MENU or SETUP/FORMAT. It doesn't work. Please advise. Thanks.
