Yes, we have the problem of the "safe guard mode" and haven't been able to use our camera for over a year. every time I eject the tape and try to start it again the camera read..."camera in safeguard mode....eject tape and reinsert" over and over and over...? Help! Also, I can charge the battery and turn off the camera. I come back to use it and the battery is dead? Thanks in advance for your help, Model number GR-D270U Keith Porter
