Hi there, You can transfer any files from any portable devices without any software! The software only helps you transfer the files easier but you can do it manually too... Right click Start, click Explore, click My Computer, find the Removable Device (e.g SD card), open it and find the folder where all the photos are stored in the storage medium, Copy the folder then Paste it into your photo collection folder. Done! These photos are in their original size(e.g 2300x1300 pixel) so you need a software to resize them. Try Google Pixresizer - it's a simple software that resizes your photos quickly!
