need some help with the blinking light.

tv shuts off after 5-7 seconds of turning it on. same problem as the other models. you can hear the fb start up and get static on the glass. then it shuts off and the on/timer light starts blinking. i have pulled the back and looked for the "notorious" cap, but the board is all different. any body have this problem, and if so, could you help? i checked for blistering and scorching on the board and around all componets. i found nothing out of the ordinary dust collection. also the fuse tested good. any help would be great. thanks, eric
