"No File" shows up on the screen even though the computer shows that there are pictures recorded on the disk.

I have pictures recorded on floppy disks that I want to transfer to the memory stick so that I can download them onto my new iMac. When I insert the disk in our old Mac, the pictures appear. When I insert them in the Mavica it says, "No File." I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks
