Brilliant, I've just had the same problem with my ancient TRV15 analogue camcorder. Admittedly it did fall off a chair whilst in its bag by accident, but It would not auto-focus when the zoom was being used and this E:61:00 error kept appearing. All I did was apply slight pressure to the lens and this must have re-meshed the lens with the auto-focus drive motor. Sorted!
