Homeauto focus will not line up This model has auto focus but will not line up. in the center the picture is really good but on the outer edges the color is misaligned. The green is the worst which curves down word at the bottom of the screen. No rough handling to this tv at all looks new. Some have told me it needs a convergence board? Please help. Thank you. P.s. with that reply could you supply a part # and is this something a audio tech can fix as not to move it to a repair shop?

if you should decide to toss out. what are the chances i could get you to take out the A board and send it to me. I will pay shipping and ever toss ya so doe for the part. whatcha think. tim givens 636-793-3084 7441 Grant Village Dr. apt 403 affton, MO 63123 Andrew..I'm sure that by now you either fixed the Sony TV, or used it as firewood. I'm having the same issues with mine, except it's the red color, instead of green as you mention. The fix that I kept seeing on the net was to replace the convergance IC's (STK392-020). What did you do to get your's working? Thanks John |
