dvd/vcr no function

I have a JVC HR-XVC26U DVD Player/VCR and powers up and the vcr works when i put in a cassette but it doesn't eject. dvd doesn't eject as well and doesn't power off. please email me back at tonayh@gmail.com thank you, tony
