Not Charging

Camera only charges for 5 minutes

My camera is dead, when I charge it the battery lights up red for five minutes and then stops. Im going to america this sunday and would like to bring it, can anyone help?

    Rosie! It would help of considerable assistance to anyone reading of your problem if you had actually mentioned the brand name and model number of whatever you are referring to.
