FYI - I have the JVC AV-32432 TV, and the user manual says that if the 'on timer' light is blinking, that there is a problem, to "unplug the set and call for service"...i know it's as clear as mud, but at least you all know that even the JVC manual doesn't have a quick and easy solution!

    A blinking timer light on any JVC TV is an indication that the power unit has shut down because there is a defect in the internal circuitry, this usually something that if allowed to continue could either damage the tube or cause components to overheat, rectification of same requiring the problem to be investigated by qualified technical personnel.
