Home | Previous messageI have a 27" JVC TV model AV-2771S that has worked well for years. While it was working yesterday my wife heard a short static noise and the sound stopped. The picture works fine. It's not related to the Direct TV box because there is not static/sound whent he TV is switched from channel 3 to another channel. Do you think it's worth taking in to be repaired or is it time to replace? Thanks for your help. Dick Bryan

Something like described can actually originate from the programme source and so its not worth spending any money until this is proven / dis-proven one way or another. If it transpires it is a warning of a fault about to occur nothing terrible will happen anyway as the TV power supply would shut down, the classic symptom of this being a flashing timer light. |
