Is overhauling the machine the only way to fix this machine. Currently my tape is inside the deck and won't come out. Thanks for your service.

I'm a obvious novice to the engineering aspect of TV. Looking up my problem another person said they overhauled their machine and things worked fine. Is $350 about what should be paid in the Atlanta area?
