PANASONIC NV-VP32 ERROR MESSAGES

HUGH Posted Feb 25, 2007

I have tried to turn on my Panasonic NV-VP32 combined DVD Player/VCR, but an error message either FO9 or FOg (Can't read it accurately)shows on screen.

Not matter what I have tried nothing works. I'm not sure if there is a child lock of which I am unaware, but it is very dead. I even disconnected from mains power and left it off then a short time latter re connected, but still no go. HELP!!!!

My problem turned out to be two faulty capacitors in the power supply. Once they were replaced no more problems. I found out the meaning of the error codes from an English ham radio site which I can't relocate now. Sorry.

I am having that very same problem. Started yesterday 4 April. We have duel view DSTV and because the main remote works through the VCR, only the one channel works. There is no display even and after searching the net extensively, I found no reference to this code. Can anyone help?

I am also having this issue, happened a couple of months ago, just haven't taken it to a repair shop. Is there a 'reset' or someway to get the unit responding.. can't even take a tape or dvd out? :)
