My camcorder opens & works perfectly but the thing is, the screen is pitch black, its blank, its like there's a blockage covering the lenses & it shows nothing and yes the cover is off.

I don't know what kind of problem my Sony camcorder has but everything I open it, there's a blank screen, I can't see anything, I can record, but the screen is pitch black and when I record, it records nothing but pitch black.
