I simply went to a hardware store and bought a screw that would fit in the tripod hole and a washer and a rubber gasket to fill in the space between the washer and the screw.It works great and it holds the camera door on and you can unscrew the screw and add your new batteries or whatever.The entire cost was seventy five cents!!!!It was a lot less expensive than replacing the battery door.
