Sony system control cord

Replacemnt part for HCD-541

Need a replacement system control cord for a Sony HCD-541 home theater system. Sony world parts states the part is no longer manufactured, and tech support states no replacement part or substitute available. Any suggestions?

What a joke? I need one also, about six months ago you would buy the cord on the web site "sony" now you can't. If you find where to get one let me know and I'll do the same. thanks
