Sony should recall this camera

One day for no reason the camera screen started to roll...kinda like credits at the end of a movie....and if it wasn't rolling than I got a white screen.....nothing seemed to fix it except for giving it o hard hit or shake....so thanks for the option to press on the right lower side of the screen that seemed to help. I called Sony...they said this wasnt part of the recall and offered to fix for a price.....anyone know how to fix it on my own? a permanent fix? Email....SMYCOSKIE@aol.com...thanks Diana
