I just got one of these too. I have a Sony amp outputting 12vdc sockets at the back but they are more like ordinary power plugs - not the little 3-pin on the turntable. I could wire a plug on but my question is; is the amp meant to control the player also?, as I can't see a "start" button on the unit.
