Nutone Intercom AM/FM problem

Hello, I'm trying to repair the radio section of my old intercom system. I have a schematic and found a bad muting diode. That solved the dead phono but not the radio problem. I can get a signal through the first third and final third of the IF strip, but can't find the problem seemingly in the center third. I pulled the center transistor but it tested OK. Does anyone have any repair experience with this models IF strip that may be able to get me through this? Thanks John
