DVD player icon of a Flashing disc in parenthesis.

I have a couple of off brand (generic) DVD players that I use to view movies with the family. Recently a Flashing DVD displays in the upper left-hand of the T.V.(sony wega flatscreen), on not just one, but two different DVD players, and on all the T.V.'s in the house. The background is bright Blue in nature, and the flashing icon is white. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
