I have JVC GR-DVM50 Digital Video Camera which I purchased about 7 years ago. It has worked flawlessly till now. When I connect the battery or the charger/power supply, the power lamp comes on (even in the OFF position) BUT the camera will not function in any way playback or record for about 10 minutes. (for example if I put in in record mode the lens cover will not open and the LCD display remains black) Then it will come to life and works perfectly until I turn it to the OFF position. If I turn it immediately back on it will take 5-10 seconds to come on - noticably longerthan it used to take. The longer I leave it in the OFF position the longer it takes to coem back on in either the Play or Record positions. If I remove the power for longer then I am back to the long wait before the camera will come to life again. When the camera is functional there are no error messages shown. Help!
