First off, sorry to bring back a dead topic. But can I use my CDX 415RX without a head unit by any chance? And it has been sometimesince I used this and if memory serves me the remote stopped working. So is there a place that can fix it or would someone have a remote to get rid of?

hey if you open it up and on the sild on were the magizene go`s in at the botem of the chasses, there is a slinding arm and a gear, the gear needs to be releast and the slider arm will let out the magizene and there u go
