using my jvc gr-d733 camcorder as a webcam

I have recently tried to connect my jvc gr-d73 camcorder as a webcam with yahoo messenger.Yahoo does not seem to recognise the camcorder as a webcam.can anyone help. Is it even possible, i am using windows xp on my computer.
