Whatever. this method for fixing the problem seems outrageous. but if you have had the message on your cam as I have for months, just opting not to even take photos any longer, you will try anything. Do it. definately works. Took me a few taps of the lens. turned it on and off a few times. etc. just keep trying. eventually you will get it. Thanks people. Now I will just have to get family and friends together for a photoshoot to reinact all of the holidays and parties where i was unable to take pictures! ha
