Home | Previous messagePhenomenal. Had the TV since 1999, so when it went suddenly stopped working a couple months ago, took the opportunity to upgrade to a HDTV LCD. My wife wanted to get it fixed, but I knew it would be expensive. Found out this morning $125 just to get it looked at. Searched the web and found the right answer on this site: $1.59 capacitor from Radio Shack, soldering gun, and we now have a working 32" TV again. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
