error code 2881

hi ihave got a panasonic vdr-m50 dvd video camera and when it trys to load the dics it comes up with message o i read the manul and it say that it can not read the dics so i went and brought a new one but now this does the same what is is wrong with it ???? your help would be great thanks andrew
