As regards to the lens cap problem, if you are the original purchaser of the device then there is a "free" repair being offered on this fault, also being outside the guarantee period makes no difference whatsoever as it still applies. Although the condensation issue does exist it is very uncommon with E / EK models except in winter months, however if I am provided with a direct e-mail address I can send info on regarding methods on how to get over the problem.
