My Sony DSC T1 is somehow not capturing light properly.

No matter how bright/dark the environment is, in auto or other shooting mode or if the flash is on or not; it just does not seem capturing any light so the pictures turn out extremely dark or just simply black. I have tried to reset the camera, but it still doesn't work
