Every time I try a channel scan I get only a black screen when the analog channels finish and the OTA HDTV channels would start.

I have a brand-new (purchased last week) LT-32X667 LCD HDTV. When I first plugged the TV in the Interactive Plug-in Menu did a OTA analog channel scan followed by a OTA HDTV channel scan. After that point I hooked-up a OTA HDTV antenna to this TV. But every time I try a channel scan I get only a black screen when the analog channels finish and the OTA HDTV channels would start. I've waited over 45 minutes but get nothing but a black screen. The only way to get any response from the TV is to start pressing the MENU button on the remote. The OTA HDTV tests-out just fine on my Sony HDTV and I've tried the channel scan in both AIR and CABLE modes with no difference. If I press the A/D button on the remote I just get a black screen on the TV and don't get back to the analog channels when I press the A/D button again: I need to press A/D followed by several presses of the up or down channel buttons to get a picture back. Is there any way to get back to the Interactive Plug-in Menu or do a true factory reset on this TV? Frank
