My tv doesnt work!
I have a 5 year old 28 inch wide screen jvc tv. It keeps turning itself off when I switch an imput on eg. Freeview, dvd player or vcr. The tv will stay on if nothing is running into it but turns off after about 10 secs of viewing! Can anyone please help me? Is it worth trying to fix it? Thanks. James.

When you say "turns off" are you meaning that it actually switches into standby or is it that the screen goes blank?

Yeah it goes into standby. When it does this you can't turn the tv back on again until you've switched of the main switch and back on again. I left the tv off over night at the mains to try and discharge it. This has affected it slightly as it stays on for 30 seconds now!
I haven't really watched it much since I've had it, Maybe that has affected it?
