Black box on TV won't go away

I have a Sony KP-46S15 TV. I have a black box that takes up almost 1/2 of the bottem half of the TV screen. How do I get rid of this? I looked through the manual and the only thing that I thought it might be was Caption Vision XDS, but I couldn't find it in the menu. I also don't have the easy set up button in the front. Is there any way to do a master reset to reset to factory defaults? Thanks!
