Hi- I have a JVC camcorder, model no. GR-D30U. I have had it for 2 years and have had no problems with it up until now. When I try to record, whether I am watching the LCD screen or looking through the viewfinder, the screen is black and the image that I am trying to record does not appear, the screen is black. However, it is recording sound. There is a flashing yellow icon at the bottom of the screen that looks like a person's silhouette and if I hit the "blank search" button it turns white but I can never get it off. Please help!!     Direct e-mail sent with most likely reasons for the problem, including details of the procedure to rectify it at no cost to yourself provided you are the original purchaser of the camcorder.
