My DSC-V1 is not holding a charge but works when plugged into the wall... can it be fixed?

Hi, I have a dsc-v1 and out of nowhere, my camera decided not to hold a charge any more. The camera works plugged into the wall but not with the batteries. If there was a way to carry around a 100' extension cord, I'd do it but lol, it really needs to be fixed. Do you have a price quote for me?
